Erigeron strigosus, commonly known as the prairie fleabane or daisy fleabane, is native to a wide range of regions in North America. In fact, it is native to every single US state, with the exception of Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico. A very important plant for pollinators. It is found in various parts of the United States and Canada, particularly in the eastern and central portions of the continent.
This wildflower typically grows in open fields, meadows, prairies, and along roadsides. It produces small, daisy-like flowers with white or pale pink petals and a yellow center, making it a familiar and attractive wildflower in many North American landscapes.
It has also been used for medicinal purposes
