An heirloom favorite with an unforgettable look and fragrance, Banana Melon produces long, banana-shaped fruits that grow up to 18 inches in length with smooth yellow skin and sweet, salmon-orange flesh. The aroma is rich and fruity, a mix of banana and cantaloupe and the flavor is exceptionally sweet and spicy, reminiscent of tropical fruit.

First introduced in the late 1800s, this variety quickly became a market novelty for its unique shape and outstanding flavor. Plants produce heavy yields on vigorous vines and thrive in warm, sunny conditions. Perfect for gardeners who love rare and historic melons with real character.

Banana Melon is a rare heirloom treasure — fragrant, sweet, and truly unlike any other melon in the garden.
