Champagne and Roses is a soft, romantic twist on the classic California poppy. The blooms come in shades of blush, cream, pale peach, and rose. They’re easy to grow, drought-tolerant once they settle in, and bloom best in full sun.
 
These poppies look beautiful mixed into wildflower beds or on their own in drifts. Blooms open during the day and close up in the evening or when it’s cloudy. They’ll often reseed and come back the following year, especially in mild climates.
 
A lovely choice if you’re after something and a little different.
 
They are also native to other western states with similar growing conditions. They like well draining soil that is not rich in nutrients.
