Rich Sweetness originated from the former Soviet Union and is an adorable, small, tiger striped melon that is a cross between a cantaloupe and a honeydew. They are the size of a baseball and prolific producers.
 
As the name suggest, these are rich and sweet, using organic compost for rich soil and a lot of watering will bring about an even sweeter flavor, along with allowing the fruit to further ripen off the vine for 2-3 days.
 
I love melons that you can grow on a trellis, especially if you are in a humid climate. Less chance of powdery mildew or fungus by not being in contact with the ground and no matter your climate, you don’t get that flat ugly spot on the part that was laying on the ground.
