This selection forms neat mounding cushions of airy foliage, smothered in delicate lilac-purple flowers from spring through summer. Unlike tall perennial lobelias, Riviera Lilac stays low to the ground, making it an excellent choice for edging, borders, rock gardens, and ground cover plantings where a soft wash of color is desired.
 
Lobelia Erinus (trailing lobelia) is usually grown as an annual because it is tender and grows fast, but is actually a perennial in zones 10 and up. It can also be overwintered in hanging baskets. 
 
This is for 25 pelleted seeds (these are multi-pellets, meaning that each pellet contains several seeds to provide for lush plantings. The seeds are rolled in a harmless clay in order to make them
larger and easier to plant, this also extends the shelf life of the seeds.) So while there are 25 pellets, there are closer to 75 seeds in a lot of 25.
