Such a stunning cold hardy shrub! These grow from 6-8 feet tall or 10-15 in ideal conditions and are native to Japan. The leaves turn red in fall. The bells start out white with pink veins that slowly get darker and darker until the bells are a bright solid red.

Seeds do not require a cold treatment, but can benefit from one if germination does not occur. In this case, place the pots in a plastic bag and put them in your refrigerator for 6 weeks.
