Trinidad Perfume sweet peppers are a unique variety that originates from the Caribbean, offering all the floral, smoky, and fruity flavors of a habanero but without the intense heat. They have a very mild spice level, often registering at fewer than 500 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), making them perfect for those who enjoy the complex flavors of hot peppers without the burn.
 
These peppers are small, wrinkled, and lantern-shaped, typically growing to about 1 to 2 inches in length. They start off green and ripen to a rich golden-yellow when fully mature. The plants are compact and bushy, reaching around 18 to 24 inches tall, and they produce prolifically throughout the growing season.
 
Trinidad Perfume peppers are excellent for fresh eating, salsas, sauces, and cooking, adding a rich, aromatic sweetness with just a whisper of warmth. They thrive in warm climates and take about 80 to 90 days from transplant to reach full maturity.
