This doubles as a major pollinator attractor as well as an edible herb! 
 
Lemon Mint is a member of the bergamot or bee balm family. Leaves taste like lemon and mint and can be eaten raw or brewed as a tea. 
 
The flowers are purple and fade to a purplish pink. 
 
If you want to help save pollinators and plant a beneficial US native, plant as much bee balm as possible.
