Pee Gee Hydrangea is a classic, time-tested hydrangea known for its huge, conical flower clusters and exceptional reliability in a wide range of climates. This variety produces showy white blooms in mid-summer that gradually age to soft shades of cream, blush and rose as the season progresses. Unlike many hydrangeas, Pee Gee thrives in full sun to part shade and is remarkably cold-hardy, making it an excellent choice for northern gardeners or anyone seeking a dependable, high-impact flowering shrub.

With its upright, tree-like form and sturdy stems, it creates a dramatic focal point in borders, cottage gardens, and foundation plantings. Although Pee Gee Hydrangea originates from Asian species rather than North American natives, it remains one of the most beloved ornamental hydrangeas for its durability, adaptability, and spectacular long-lasting blooms.
