Rainbow Quartet Stock produces soft, layered blooms in buttery cream with blush pink and finished with gentle rosy edges. Each flower spike is filled with ruffled, double blooms that blend warm cream tones with soft pink highlights, creating a subtle, naturally varied look rather than a bold mix of colors. The overall effect is cohesive, with just enough contrast to make each bloom stand out.

Stock grows best in cooler conditions and is ideal for early planting. Start seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before your last frost or sow directly outdoors once the soil can be worked. Lightly cover seeds (about 1/8 inch) and keep soil evenly moist. Germination occurs in 7–14 days at temperatures between 60–70°F. Once established, space plants 8–12 inches apart in full sun to partial shade with well-draining soil.

Blooming in spring to early summer, these flowers are well-suited for cutting gardens, borders, and containers. Their soft color transitions and classic clove-like fragrance make them a reliable choice for both garden display and fresh arrangements. Florist favorite, column stock has tall spires of flowers so fragrant, that you can smell them from across the room (or garden.)

These thrive in the cool weather of spring or fall. Sturdy, upright stems make it perfect for cutting, while its long vase life and pastel coloring pair beautifully with peonies, ranunculus, and other spring florals.

Stock flowers will continue blooming in temperatures as low as 22 degrees!
