Sugar Stars Phlox produces striking star-like blooms marbled with icy white and rich violet-blue tones. Rather than displaying solid colors, many flowers feature intricate streaking, feathering, and pinwheel-like patterns that blend white and lavender-blue on the same bloom. The result is a cool-toned display that appears almost hand-painted, with each flower offering its own unique pattern. Compact plants become covered in blossoms, creating a shimmering carpet of blue, lavender, and white throughout the season.
The distinctive blooms stand out in borders, containers, cottage gardens, and mass plantings, where their unusual coloration creates visual interest from a distance and remarkable detail up close. Butterflies and other pollinators are frequent visitors, while the plants provide weeks of continuous bloom.
