One of the challenges with most types of okra, is trying to make sure the pods don't stay on the plant too long and get tough. This is not a worry with Clemson spineless, which can be allowed to grow very large without any chewiness, making them one of the top selling okra seeds in history.
Okra loves heat, plant in spring and summer when temps are between 70-90 degrees. Harvest in only 60 days and subsequent harvests after.
Soak seeds for 24 hours before planting.
While Okra is generally viewed as an annual, it can actually live for several years in zones 12 and 13 and is considered a perennial only in these zones. It is easy enough to collect seeds and replant every year though, especially considering okra's fast growth rate.
These have a high germination rate. Plants get very large(6 feet tall!) and are high yielding. You will want to designate some space for these or plant some and refrigerate the rest in an airtight container.
This is for 50 Non-GMO seeds. See our other listing for 100 Seeds
