These are perfect for a wedge salad! Add a little bleu cheese and some bacon! 
 
This is a very unusual dwarf butter/bibb lettuce. The heads are only about the size of a baseball and are quick to harvest in only 55 days (just a couple weeks for baby greens). They also love cool weather so they will still do well as the days get colder.  Their size also makes them perfect for pot planting. Just snip as needed!
 
These are frost hardy and ideal temperatures are between 60 and 80 degrees. These are a perfect for a spring or fall planting in cold climates and late fall or winter crop for zones 9+.
 
Space close together for baby greens and 6 inches apart for full heads. 
 
Seeds sprout in only 7-10 days for a quick harvest for baby greens. You can snip them near the base multiple times and they will regenerate. Allow to grow to full heads if desired.

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS:
 
Plant when temperatures are at or below 80 degrees. Germination is very poor over 80 degrees. Planting time is determined by your climate. Cooler climates can generally plant from spring to fall. Warmer climates should plant in fall, winter or spring.  
 
Prepare a bed by digging down a few inches into the soil and mixing, garden soil, organic or a mixture of both in with your native soil. Thoroughly wet the soil before planting , so seeds aren’t washed out of place by watering heavily after. Lightly press the seeds into the soil so that they are covered by only 1/8 of an inch of soil. Space the seeds 1 foot apart if you wish to grow full heads. Plant them as close as 4-6 inches apart if you want baby lettuce greens that you can snip and allow to regrow. Heads are ready for harvest in only 60 days. Baby lettuce is ready when it is the desired size. Simply snip the leaves at the base so they can re-grow.  Heads are ready for harvest in 60 days.
