Touted as one of the most beautiful grasses in existence, Ruby grass features tidy clumps of blue-green foliage that turn reddish brown in the fall. The blooms are varying shades of red and pink for a breathtaking display in the breeze. Blooms from late spring to fall. The blooms rise about a foot above the foliage to make sure they get noticed! These are native to Africa and are also referred to as Pink Bubble Grass.

Ruby grass can be started indoors 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost (if applicable) and then transferred outdoors. In warmer climates, they can be planted any time of year.

Perennial in zones 9-11 Can be grown as an annual in cooler climates as it’s fast growing or can be grown in containers.
