A plant with a long history of medicinal use by Native Americans and Chinese medicine, the leaves are boiled and made into tea, hence the name, Mormon tea.

Nevada Mountain tea is highly drought tolerant, making for an excellent xeriscaping plant

This plant is very similar to Green Mormon tea, with Nevadensis growing slightly larger from 3 to 6.5 feet. it is also a U.S. native, primarily found in:

1. Nevada
2. Utah
3. Arizona
4. California
