5000 seeds

Dichondra repens, a member of the morning glory family makes for an excellent ground cover in zones 7-11, maintaining its lush green foliage in temperatures as low as 25 degrees.

It’s very low profile, growing no taller than 3-6 inches, as it tends to spread out rather than grow upwards. It can be mowed or just left be.

Excellent for filling in between pathway stones.

Perennial zones 7-11

Can handle full to part sun and even some shade.

This is for 5000 seeds, which covers roughly 40 square feet. See my other listing for 1 lb, which covers 500 square feet. If you are looking to cover a larger area, see my other listing for 1 lb.

Seeds are collected and then sent off for a special coating called an inoculant, which is nitrogen-fixing bacteria. It is harmless to the environment and beneficial for germination and establishment of the seed in poor soils where this may not be naturally present. The seeds will appear to be blue-green and dusty. This is actually the coating, the seed is inside the coating.
