Gazania is so different than your average flower.  
 
They have prolific blooms with bunches of 3-6 flowers per plant at any one time.
 
Gazania can be grown as an annual or perennial, it grows very fast, making it ideal as an annual and can be grown as a perennial in zones 9-11. Many Gazania’s will come back if the roots are mulched in zones close to 9.
 
They are highly drought tolerant, making them a good choice for dry climates.
