Also called Freckle Faced plant, Polka Dot Plants have low light requirements and can be grown entirely indoors. They should not receive direct sunlight. They can be grown outdoors for a shade garden.


They are also excellent at purifying the air. The most polluted air in the world are indoor spaces. Adding plants is a great way to remove toxins in your home that are actually beneficial to plants. 


A NASA indoor pollution study revealed that one plant can remove toxins up to a 100 square foot area. They recommend 15-20 plants per home. 


Can grow up to 3 feet tall and wide in its natural habitat but stays much smaller in containers. Can also easily be pruned without harming the plant and cutting are easily propagated with some rooting hormone to share with family and friends!


Zone 10+ Can be grown in any zone indoors as it actually prefers bright light and no direct sunlight.
